The background looks uncharacteristically magical for a strip club, like the twilight of an distant planet. Perhaps the most moving aspect of this piece is the way the pole dancer is the only one in the frame. It's as though she's allowed herself to forget what she's doing and why, and just move with the music in solitary grace...
