Hi ! I just had a look through your gallery after seeing this image on the site's front page and must say that I really like what I see here. Some amazing non-abstract images from a program I've only really used to make abstracts; I've made a couple of images using Apophysis that I felt resembled some real-life object but fear I've never managed it as well as you.
I find the star floating above mixed with the fact that the background is white a little odd, but I realise that it would be hard to have the black cat show up against a black background. Regardless, I feel this is a really lovely image; a nice shape to the hat and the cute cat work well together . Nice choice for the minimal colouration, too... the eyes in particular. I think you've inspired me to start trying to work in new ways with Apophysis and post-processing of images-- I fear I'll never be able to create anything like this, but it might be fun to play around with methinks. Many thanks for that, as inspiration is something I've been lacking for a good while! Anyway, great work here and elsewhere in your gallery; I should be back soon, all going to plan, to comment on a few more pieces that caught my eye .
thankyou so much for taking the time to comment - essnetailyl i create the basic shapes with apophysis and then tweak then some in photoshop to give a clearer shape - so its more a combination of two tools that lead to my results lol apophysis and photsohop got to love them both lol - i did try a grety background some but it looekd washed out like the contrast had messed up - likewise a dark background made the star work better - i might ajust later on and opt for a blue or something - i have no idea oftne i will make something then post it here and re-edit it - the cat in thsi image is an edit of anotehr cat one that started life as fractal - though that is on a black background - and is more a tabby cat
i just generally like to play around with creating images - often with apophysis i see a shape in a randomly generated fractal and then think it reminds me of something else - then bring photoshop into play - it amazes me at times what can come out of the two things together. apophysis i have only jsut really begin to dabble in so to speak a friedn sending me a link in december i first tried to create with it in january - the programme itself looses me a lot of the time but i o fathom out enough to crate some intereting images i am glad you find my work inspirational its one of the highest compliments i could recieve my sincerest thanks!!
inspiration is soemthing that stumps me at times btu i have enough to keep me going at present - i have sort of set my self a poetry challenge and general 'a-z of life' challenge as i am calling it to keep me busy - not to mention a 4th version of the 100 themes challenge that i am plodding through lol
feel free to pop back and browse any time - my work usually gets quite varied so at least then there is usualy something different and something that will appeal to most people thanks for stopping by

Words fail me, attempting so much.
Babble a silence.
Shout out a whisper.
