Stock Texture - Marbled XVI by rockgem Stock Texture - Marbled XVI by rockgem
Created using dampened paper which I then sprinkled with dye crystals/powder - not sure how to refer to them cause an old art teacher of mine showed me how to do this years ago. I was cleaning out and found this stack of papers I created like this and never used
colours edited in photoshop

thankyou - they were fun to create and like this one just as much fun to invert the colours in the computer and get even more fantastic patterns and textures

I tried this, they didnt come out as beautiful as yours, but, I will try to tweak them in photoshop too! It was really fun, and so fun to see the paintings create themselfs! :D

it takes a little practice to be fair but even the pieces that i didn't like as well i found a use for - like painting over the top of them or cutting them into strips and weaving them together to create different patterns - but photoshop is always good for playing with the colours or as a way of using a particularly good pattern multiple times :D
