ok after folks took a look at my 'bird of of paradise' artwork - a few asked if i could do a phoenix piece. so i figured i coudl cheat and just change the colours on the bird of paradise one - or i could start over again and create a new piece. i chose the latter option and 2 hours later this is the result.
all done in adobe photoshop elements.

the original is a large size 68.98cm wide and 108.72cm high

lol thankyou for the compliment on this one :aww: at present I'm waiting on an enlargement of this from my local printers - i've seen it large on my screens etc but i can't wait to see how it might look on a wall :giggle:

this is all done in photoshop, i made an older series of abstract works then took parts of those and pieced them together bit by bit :aww:

yes and no. i have a good imagination for seeing shapes etc so it was more so a matter of patience needed to pull this all together

they're one of my favourite things to try to compose in images ( for that matter mythical creatures in general) as i love the idea of all the flame colours
