Paper Year...

Precious memories written down, on already yellowed and fading pages.
Always yours, be mine, love you, such sentiments - even the words ‘I do…’
Preserved moments religiously stored in the now tattered scrapbook sheets,
Each letter and card, every jotted love notes is there inside your memory box,
Roses pressed, kept with a certificate to remember our paper year until our last.

The paper anniversary and in truth how many other memories are/ can be recorded upon paper.

Edit: a fellow deviant pointed out a mistake made in the typing ' every jotted love notes' instead of 'every jotted love note' so corrected that guess the mistake stems from me not treble checking from a previous edit
