Never fully knowing what for

Dreaming of faces we’ve yet to see
Flesh we’ve yet to embrace
Immortal souls chasing memories
Our love something death-defying
We never say the word ‘goodbye‘.
Because it is never a farewell
Even if we lay cold in the earth
We’ve become the beginnings
And we will become the ends
Of each other.

lies...I forced a smile
And my lips split apart
Cracking up like dried earth
Spilling redness down my chin
And seeping between my teeth
I spoke through that grin
Although I could taste
The lies in my blood.

Winter MorningWarm coat, scarf and hat,
The frost scattering diamonds-
Breath like dragon-smoke.

thankyou for the compliment on this one Caz. not sure if it works well enough with the distinction of the figures (the one is meant to sort of be sweeping the other off her feet sort-of) but i do like the way the roses turned out in the end.
