When you reach that final page
Written in the book of your life
Commit everything to writing
Both the good and bad things
All the tears that stained the pages
And all  those little  bright memories
To the space between the two covers
And realise that  above all else
No matter how long or how short
The time you have  allotted to you
It was a worthwhile read.

little idea i had comparing life to a book - and what would you consider if say you did reach that last page?

Made me think of the concept of deathbed confessions and how in many religions, people seek to absolve themself of their many sins, regrets etc. Unless we are present for the death of others, or experience it ourselves or read about these accounts..it's really hard to know what we would do individually or respond when we finally get to the last page.. :)

its certainly an idea to think on and the idea is that you want to be absolved and to live life without anything you really regret - i know personally when i get to that final page i want to be able to say i regret very little in my life and tried to live it to the full
