yup i'm getting gargoyles tattooed and i've booked my sittings with a local artist 
first sitting booked for 1st Dec second sitting booked for 26th Jan
Can't wait to see the finished product! 
first sitting is on the 1st December - so hopefully will get a good chunk of it done and the second sitting is booked for near the end of january ( with a possible third sitting if needed in feb) 
the outline is done now and nearly healed over properly - i shall snag a WIP shot soon as it were and looking fowards to getting the shading finished then from there on in i have to finish off a design for the middle of the archway and starting work on an idea for my upper back 
however a couple of photos of the two finished pieces are posted now

me and the tattoo artist had this debate - but as most folks don't know the difference anyways its easier to say 'gargoyle' than 'grotesque' and Gargoyle does sound more mystical .. 
generally thats what it boils down to essentially though knowing most my friends it will be the words 'cool its like a gothic demon thing!'
