Constelaciones del subconsciente
No es necesario un telescopio

False SubtletiesLipstick hangs like blood
on her lips - she smiles, eyes dance
behind masked exterior
of decaying skin
that droops the edges of her
eyes like secret masquerade.

HumanidadHumanidad,
El verdadero cancer
de la actualidad

GodWhy should I believe?

He created everything.

He himself is flawed.

KatalinaEn la pradera
No halle mas que amapolas
¡Oh divina suerte !
Te he encontrado

Truthtruth is coming soon
find out what has been hidden
find out what is right

what lies have we
been told to cover up the truth
why are we lied too?

Can truth set you free?
can it break you chains today?
what is it worth?

to tell the truth
such a simple little thing
with consequences

unforeseen right now
what can we do to tell the truth
from lies told to us?

Delusion I write so much . . . as

if anyone gave a damn

about what I make.

Hidden facesPretty pretty mask
Your visage makes others smile
Ugly truths are veiled

simple but effective i guess - if only cause i wasn't sure how to really go about extending the 'swansong of a poet' line i had into something longer - so haiku suited it i guess - but at the same time i doubt it would have had the same impact if made lengthier

Small can still be beautiful and I think it suited the haiku very well.

Very nice bit of musing. I see what you were probably were thinking there. I myself have several pieces of papers with musings on them. I have since tasked myself with compiling them.
