Awesome! I love how the arrow doesn't really stand out from the moon, so a first glance everything looks fine...then you see the blood and are confused and then you see the arrow and realize what's happening.

It's an interesting sort of visual journey.

this is so beautiful!

I'd call it corny if it wasn't for the deer to be shot which gives the pic a bit of a tragic shade in contrast to the shiny gold colors :aww:

thankyou - but it was a request by ~ShadowedAcolyte to go with a piece of his poetry - so the arrow is relevant to that

you are most welcome - well the poem speaks a lot of the colours so i thought i would try stick to a minimalistic colour set for this and yes the arrow is quite subtle - hence i added that patch of red to highlight it - yes the overall picture is almost gilt but yes there is that tragic element in it also - very much like the poem
