Literature Text

Your lips pouted,
Almost brazen with unshed kisses.
Words -- falling like ripened  fruit,
From that mouth of deepest scarlet
That spilled such quenching laughter,
That luscious mouth that I  simply want;
That I crave to crush to mine and devour.

Yet  Alas!
Those cherry sweet sentiments--
No matter how many,
No matter how beautiful,
Are never meant  for me.
