Filled with the cries of gulls and wave-crashes.
Pale shapes against the dark- not just of the sea-birds;
Ghost-like and half-imaginary
Cliff and skyline merge -
While remaining waking I dream of phantom ships,
Yet in myself I feel more like the apparition.
Wraith-like in heart, heavy in bones,
Shipwrecked.
