not sure how this came about with my dabbling between apophysis and photoshop but the first thing that came to mind when i looked at it was those chunky knit aran jumpers

i wasn't sure if it were still a little faint cause of the muted colours - but when i tried it a shade or two darker it lost the sort of wool look i wanted to aim for

thankyou kindly for the compliment i was worried it was a little too faint and pale but when i looked at making it darker it lost the sort of soft wool effect i wanted to keep - but as a plus when i looked at it on a couple of other screens it looked fine

hmmm, yes, sometimes that can happen... did you try contrast instead of brightness? Often increasing contrast a little will bring out the definition without really darkening as much

i did and the darker areas just went a rather ickly shade of brown and i lost the cream in the highlights some so i thought best not to keep playing and poking at the image in case i ruin the lovely shapes that i did get

yes, sometimes there just isn't any way to make it better... I've had that happen too
